Tech Sassy Girlz (TSG) is a signature program of Collegiate Pathways, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Orlando, FL. Tech Sassy Girlz, is an inquiry-based, experiential, hands-on program designed to increase the pipeline of under-represented girls in STEM related fields.
Tech Sassy Girlz provides girls exposure and access to STEM fields and careers through our various programs, workshops and events.
Our mission is to empower underrepresented middle and high school girls to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields through college preparation, career readiness, and mentoring.
We deliver programming through a variety of instructional methodologies in informal learning environments including, mentoring, tutoring, workshops, hackathons, conferences, programs, and presentations. We do this through the following programs:
The College Prep program assists parents and students with the college-going process. We offer comprehensive college access and readiness programs to ensure that students and parents are exposed to a variety of postsecondary institutions and that they have enough information to make an informed decision about selecting a college to attend.
The Technology Camps are held in the summer and give the students an opportunity to work in an inquiry-based, problem-solving, collaborative environment and learn leadership development, team-building and technical skills. The camps provide a platform for the students to learn programming languages, basic coding skills and graphic design.
Tech Sassy Girlz, our signature program, is designed to provide girls in grades 6 - 12 exposure and access to STEM fields and careers and to increase the pipeline of under-represented girls in STEM related fields.
The Academy is a program for high school girls in grades 10 – 12 interested in pursuing a college degree in STEM. The Academy consists of four pillars:
Tech Sassy Girlz Code, our after school program, is an experiential, hands-on learning based program designed to teach girls about 21st century technological and digital skills. These skills are necessary to better prepare them for future success.

Tech Sassy Girlz was established in 2012 to promote out-of-classroom, afterschool and summer learning opportunities and experiences for girls by increasing awareness of STEM education and careers. Tech Sassy Girlz is an open access, self-select program for girls in middle and high school. We began with 50 students at our first annual Tech Sassy Girlz Conference, which included technology workshops and hands-on demonstrations for girls in middle and high school in the Central Florida region. We create educational opportunities by generating awareness of STEM education and careers for girls in middle and high school. Tech Sassy Girlz promotes positive youth development and students also participate in college tours as part of their experience in the program as many are first generation college students.
In 2013, Mayor Buddy Dyer declared Saturday, October 19, 2013 as “Tech Sassy Girlz Day.”
The Academy is a comprehensive program for high school girls in grades 10 – 12 interested in pursuing a college degree in STEM. The TSG Scholars learn necessary skills, such as academic, leadership and social development skills to succeed in high school and pursue a degree in higher education. Tech Sassy Girlz offers one week non-residential summer technology camps in coding and graphic design. The goal of the camp is to expose and inspire underserved girls to learn about and pursue technology and use technology to become content creators.
